In Newish, a recent newcomer to Canada tries to jump-start her acting career while juggling motherhood, marriage, and the daily absurdities of adapting to a new country.

Writer/Director/Producer Anna Onofrey, originally from Ukraine, has now relocated to Ottawa and is pleased to be working on this new 6-part series about adapting to life in Canada.

Producer Heidi Lasi is excited about Newish, a comedic, slice-of-life production, licensed by Bell Fibe 1.
